Hit area of ••• menu seems too small + menu has a little too much latency before opening

The ••• button in the top right corner feels like it's easy to miss when tapping it, causing me to have to tap it multiple times sometimes to open the menu. I'm not sure what the touchable area of the button is, but I've just noticed that I'm fat fingering it a lot. This is exacerbated by the fact that the menu takes 100 to a few hundred milliseconds to open. Together, this makes for a user experience that feels a bit clunky.
