Be able to see into past events

I've been attending a convention recently (Gdakon 2022). It is now over and the event owner has posted an announcement. Haven't I received the notification, I wouldn't even be able to reach the event and list of attendees because **it is not visible in "attending events" list anymore** and in search. The options that come into my mind would be to add "past events", a separate group in "attending events", a search filter for it or date range, or all of these :)
