A feature that would enable people who coincidentally attend the same events or are physically closeby to connect locally. E.g : Person A is in a Bar / Club / place and Person B enters the same place, it is hard to tell that these people are in the same place because the distance will always say under 1 km / mile. A solution would be to have an Opt-In feature that could notify people that are in the same place that someone else who is on Barq is present too outside of published events in the app.
