I can’t set my profile picture and/or it appears blank (IOS)

When i try setting a profile picture it shows up like that/blank even though I habe profile pictures. i've been dealing with this for about a month and idk what to do about it. i know it probably isn't a very common bug but its very frustrating and I hope you folks can help me out soon
