Cant upload profile pictures

ive gotten the app to socialize with furs in my area, but, i were unable to set up the profile pictures needed. i would press upload and i would be back to the same window where i would have to upload, meaning its apparently loading and throwing me back to where i was before i pressed "upload". mind i am using an ulefone android phone
